In the state of New Mexico there have been 37,042 tests performed for COVID-19 according to the NM Health website. Out of those tested, 4.0% have tested positive, or 1,845 cases. 103 individuals are hospitalized in New Mexico and 487 people have been designated as having recovered from the virus. There have been 55 deaths in the State all having other underlying health issues. No cases have been reported in Sierra County.
PLEASE, STAY AT HOME as much as possible. If you have to go out maintain social distancing and it is recommended that you wear a mask. Only send one person to the grocery store or restaurant to pickup food.
While staying at home during the pandemic take a few minutes out of your day to fill out the census. Online go to my2020census.gov/ (You do not need a Census ID to fill out the census online).
