PLEASE, STAY AT HOME as much as possible. If you have to go out maintain social distancing and it is recommended that you wear a mask. Only send one person to the grocery store or restaurant to pick-up food.

While staying at home during the pandemic take a few minutes out of your day to fill out the census. Go online to my2020census.gov/ (You do not need a Census ID to fill out the census online).

The state has 2,072 cases of Covid-19 according to the NM Health Website, while 40,877 tests have been performed. Tuesday, we had 103 new cases and 7 new deaths, raising the state total to 65.  Statewide 119 people are hospitalized, while 529 people have recovered.  Hot zones remain Bernalillo, McKinley, Sandoval, and San Juan counties. No cases have been reported in Sierra County.

If you need food, email food@sierraco.org or call the county administrative office (575) 894-6215. The email should include your name, address, phone number, and the number of people in the home. We have currently provided food to 322 people in Sierra County.
