The Governor to extend “Stay Home Order” in a COVID-19 news conference yesterday in Santa Fe. Michelle Lujan Grisham said she will instruct the NM Health Department to extend the shut down to May 15th, 2020. As many states have already started to reopen New Mexico’s economy and non-essential businesses remain closed.

The state has 2,210 cases of Covid-19 according to the NM Health Website, while 41,232 tests have been performed. Tuesday, we had 139 new cases and 6 new deaths, raising the state total to 71. Statewide 121 people are hospitalized, while 547 people have recovered. Hot zones remain Bernalillo, McKinley, Sandoval, and San Juan counties. No cases have been reported in Sierra County.
