According to the number of positive cases compared to the number of tests performed, the state peaked on April 22, 2020. NM Health Department estimates 3,806 people have fully recovered.
Sierra County is undertaking a broadband feasibility study to determine if there is a way to build a fiber optic network to bring gigabit broadband to residents in the County. The potential services would provide residents and businesses with super-fast internet access. As part of the study, we are asking residents to take a quick survey and speed test so that we can understand the actual data speeds being delivered by broadband products in Sierra County. Visit our website at sierraco.org then click on the “Services” button across the top and take the BROADBAND SURVEY & SPEED TEST.
