- Beginning Monday, May 11, all essential businesses of any size currently operating under the public health order must wear face coverings or medical grade masks.
- Retailers will not be required to provide face coverings for customers but are encouraged to post signage strongly encouraging customers to wear their own masks.
The state has 4,493 cases of Covid-19 according to the NM Health Website, while 89,032 tests have been performed. 3 new deaths yesterday bringing our total to 172 statewide all having underlying medical conditions. 91.8 % of the state’s deaths have occurred in San Juan, Bernalillo, McKinley, and Sandoval counties. 197 people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19, while 1,125 people have recovered. 366 tests have been performed in Sierra County with one positive case of COVID-19 being reported.
