The community is halfway through “15 Days to Slow the Spread.” Do your part to flatten the curve:
- Stay home as much as much as possible.
- If you need to go out for food, essentials or medical appointments, practice social distancing.
For those business owners/managers/customers who are unsure if your local business is considered Essential or Non-Essential DO NOT CALL 9-1-1 or the local Dispatch Center. Please call New Mexico State Police at (833) 551-0518, Option 2 or e-mail: NMSP.COVIDfirstname.lastname@example.org.
All county offices remain open; however, some are operating in a limited capacity. The Assessor, Clerk and Treasurer’s Office require you to call first before proceeding into the building. These restrictions are to ensure that the county doesn’t violate the 5-person capacity rule.
The county’s focus has been on and will continue to ensure local health care facilities get critical supplies needed for this pandemic; and to provide food to the elderly, disabled or impoverished individuals or families that cannot physically go to a grocery store or do not have the financial resources to purchase groceries.
If you need food, email email@example.com or call the county administrative office 894-6215. The email should include your name, address, phone number, and the number of people in the home.
Please do not hoard food or hygiene products, grocery stores are open and food is plentiful in the community.
