Public Hearing: Off-Highway and All-Terrain Vehicles

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sierra County Board of Commissioners will hold a meeting on May 15, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on the Sierra County Ordinance Authorizing the Operation of Off-Highway Vehicles and All-Terrain Vehicles on Maintained Street or Roads Owned and Controlled by the County of Sierra, the purpose of which is to allow the operation or recreational off-highway and all-terrain vehicles maintained streets or roads controlled by the County of Sierra. The Ordinance will be considered by the Board of County Commissioners for Final Passage at a regular meeting to follow the public hearing, on May 15, 2018, at 10:00 AM. Both meetings will be held at the Albert J. Lyon Event Center, 2953 S. Broadway, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901.

Complete copies of the of proposed Sierra County Ordinance are available for public inspection at the Office of the County Clerks, at 100 N. Date Street, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901, the County Administration, at 855 Van Patten, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901.

Copies of the proposed Ordinance may be purchased by the public from either office for .50 cents a page.
