On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 9:50 A.M., in a regular meeting at the Sierra County Commission Chambers, 1712 N. Date Street, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901, the Board of County Commissioners of Sierra County will conduct a public hearing for the purpose of discussing the adoption of an Ordinance Concerning Indigent Hospital Claims. The purpose of the Ordinance is to set forth eligibility and claim limits for Indigent Hospital Claims, the process for submission of indigent claims, and appeals. The Board of Commissioners will consider the Ordinance Concerning Indigent Hospital Claims for adoption at the regular Commission meeting to follow the public hearing at 10:00 a.m. at the Sierra County Commissioner Chambers.

Copies of the proposed Ordinance are available for the public to view free of charge at the County Clerk’s Office and the County Manager’s Office, both located at 1712 North Date Street, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901.
